• Monsummano Terme is famous for it's natural thermal water spas and grotta. An an excellent way to relax and rejuvenate.

• Collodi is the hometown of Carlo Collodi, the author of the famed story 'Pinocchio' and makes for an interesting visit of Pinocchio Park 

• All through the Lucca area are beautiful, antique villas which are open the         to the public. Visiting them gives you a peek into the lives of past owners.         There are tours you can take or you can go on your own. 

• Of course you can use San Gennaro as a base to visit the incredibly unique Cinque Terre, Florence, Vinci ( Leonardo Da Vincis hometown), Pisa, Lucca,      the chic beach towns in Versilia, the mountains in Garfagnana and much more.
